You Can Put Yourself Under A Curse By What You Do
Yes, you can place yourself under a curse. In the Bible, God gives us clear instructions about how we should live. With those instructions come both blessings and warnings.
While we often focus on the promises of God’s blessing, we forget that our choices — what we do, how we live, and the decisions we make — have consequences, both good and bad.
In this powerful sermon, we’ll dive into the sobering reality that the actions we take can place us under a curse, either intentionally or unintentionally.
From disobedience to idolatry, from pride to unforgiveness, our choices can open doors to spiritual consequences that affect, not only our lives but also the lives of those around us.
We’ll examine key Scripture passages that show how God’s laws are not arbitrary but are deeply connected to the well-being of His people. We’ll discuss how sin can create strongholds in our lives and how certain behaviors — whether rooted in rebellion, sin, or wrong attitudes — can place us under a curse, separating us from the blessings God intends for us.
But there is hope. Just as God offers blessings, He also offers redemption. Through repentance and turning back to Him, we can break free from the curses that have taken root in our lives. In this message, we will learn how to recognize the warning signs of being under a curse and how to find freedom in Christ through confession, repentance, and obedience.
This sermon will challenge you to examine your life and your actions through the lens of Scripture, urging you to make choices that align with God’s Word and invite His blessing, peace, and favor into your life.
